Where is the extant oldest tea tree? How old is it
The oldest tea tree is found in the wild lea
community, Qianjiazhai, Zhenyuan county, Simao, Yunnan Province. It is estimated to be
2,700 years old, by
far the oldest one found in the wild.
Must be a real pain climbing up there to pick tea leaves!
